The battle for the top scorer crown at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) is heating up, with six players currently locked on two goals apiece.
The tournament, co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, has already produced thrilling matches and plenty of drama — and the race for the Golden Boot is no different.
Here are the players leading the chase:
Allan Okello (Uganda) – 2 goals
Thabiso Kutumela (South Africa) – 2 goals
Abdelrazig Omer (Sudan) – 2 goals
Kaporal (Angola) – 2 goals
Austin Odhiambo (Kenya) – 2 goals
