CHAMS HOLDCO GROWS REVENUE 18%, DECLARES N270M DIVIDEND
Chams HoldCo Plc has reported an 18% growth in revenue for the 2025 financial year and declared a dividend of N270 million to shareholders, demonstrating strong performance in its technology and identity management businesses.
The company disclosed this in its audited financial statements released on Friday. Revenue rose to N12.8 billion from N10.85 billion in the previous year, driven by increased demand for its digital identity solutions, payment systems, and e-government services.
Chams HoldCo Chairman, Dr. Mrs. Aderonke Ojo, attributed the growth to strategic investments in technology and successful execution of key projects across public and private sectors. “We are pleased with the 18% revenue growth and our continued ability to deliver value to our stakeholders. The dividend payment reflects our commitment to rewarding our shareholders,” Ojo stated.
The company also recorded a modest improvement in profit after tax, despite the challenging economic environment. Chams HoldCo said it will continue to focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and market expansion to sustain its growth trajectory.
Analysts have commended the company’s performance, noting its resilience and adaptability in a difficult operating environment. The dividend declaration is expected to boost investor confidence and support the company’s share price on the Nigerian Exchange.
Chams HoldCo has been a key player in Nigeria’s digital transformation journey, providing solutions for national identity management, electronic payments, and secure document processing. The company has positioned itself as a leader in the fintech and identity solutions space.
The board approved a dividend of 5 kobo per share, payable to shareholders whose names appear on the register as at the appropriate date. The dividend payment is subject to approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
As Nigeria continues to embrace digitalisation, Chams HoldCo’s strong performance is seen as a positive indicator for the technology and services sector.
