The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a fresh warning to former U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him to be cautious of another possible assassination attempt. Speaking to journalists in the Oke-Afa area of Lagos on Saturday, Ayodele cautioned that Trump remains at risk, claiming that another attack may be in the offing. “Trump should be careful about another assassination attempt—write it down and mark it,” he declared. The warning comes after a series of reported assassination plots against Trump in 2024. In July, during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, a 20-year-old gunman, Thomas Mathew Crooks, opened fire at Trump while he addressed supporters from a podium. The shots missed, and Crooks was swiftly neutralized by U.S. Secret Service snipers. Two months later, in September 2024, the Secret Service reportedly foiled another plot while Trump was golfing at his West Palm Beach, Florida, course. According to law enforcement sources, a gunman hiding in bushes near the property line was spotted and fired upon by agents. Ayodele’s latest warning adds to the concerns over Trump’s security as he continues his political engagements ahead of the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
