CAF MAKES AFCON MOROCCO 2025 TRAVEL EASIER WITH FREE E-VISAS FOR FANS
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a major travel boost for supporters heading to AFCON Morocco 2025 — fans from visa-required countries will now receive free electronic visas to enter Morocco for the tournament.
The update, announced on Friday by CAF and the Local Organising Committee, comes as global interest in Africa’s biggest football competition continues to rise, with ticket bookings increasing daily.
Free e-Visas Now Available Through the YALLA App
CAF explained that fans attending the tournament, scheduled for 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, can now apply for their free e-visa directly through the YALLA app.
“Electronic visas to enter Morocco — obtained through the YALLA app — are now free of charge for supporters attending the competition,” CAF stated.
The policy covers all countries whose citizens normally need a visa to enter Morocco.
Fan ID + e-Visa: What Supporters Need
To enjoy a smooth stay in Morocco and gain access to stadiums, fans must secure two key documents:
Fan ID (mandatory for entry into stadiums and official fan zones)
e-Visa (for countries that require a visa)
CAF says both can now be easily processed together:
“The Fan ID application and e-visa request are completed seamlessly within the YALLA app, ensuring a faster, easier and secure experience for international visitors and local fans.”
Supporters are advised to:
Download the YALLA app on Google Play or the App Store, or visit the YALLA website.
Fill out the Fan ID form.
Submit an e-visa request (if required).
After approval, purchase match tickets on the CAF ticketing platform.
A Smoother Experience for Africa’s Biggest Tournament
CAF says these new measures aim to deliver a stress-free and secure fan experience ahead of a historic tournament that will be played across nine stadiums in six Moroccan cities.
AFCON 2025 marks Morocco’s first time hosting since 1988, and excitement is already building as the continent braces for fierce competition, unforgettable moments, and new stars ready to shine.
A total of 24 teams are set to compete for Africa’s biggest football prize.
