BWALA: JONATHAN CAN’T BEAT TINUBU IN 2027
Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has said former President Goodluck Jonathan stands no chance of defeating Tinubu if he contests in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, Bwala advised Jonathan to ignore those urging him to join the race, warning that such a move could damage the reputation he has built since leaving office.
“I see that some unscrupulous elements are trying to hoodwink former President Goodluck Jonathan to come into politics,” Bwala said.
According to him, Jonathan has successfully rebuilt his image on the global stage and should not risk it.
“But if President Jonathan decides to run, let me tell you, I have seen the political climate in Nigeria today, and I will speak to facts, not conjecture. There is not a single politician who can knock off President Bola Tinubu,” Bwala declared.
While Jonathan has not officially declared his interest in the 2027 race, Bwala’s statement adds to the growing political debate as the election draws closer.
