The Association of Resident Doctors, Federal Capital Territory (ARD-FCT), has embarked on a seven-day warning strike.

This was contained in a communiqué signed by its President, Dr. George Ebong, along with other members of the executive.

The doctors described the FCT health system as plagued by deep-rooted failures that demand urgent and comprehensive reforms.

Dr. Ebong emphasized that medical practitioners in the territory are overstretched, often compelled to cover multiple departments simultaneously.
