The Bank of Industry (BOI) has opened a ₦250 billion bond offer aimed at raising long-term funds to finance businesses and stimulate industrial growth across Nigeria.

The bond proceeds will be used to expand access to affordable financing for enterprises, particularly small and medium-sized businesses, while supporting investments in manufacturing, agriculture, technology, and other productive sectors.

BOI said the initiative aligns with its mandate to promote industrialisation, boost local production, and create employment through increased access to development finance.

Financial analysts described the bond issuance as a significant step towards mobilising long-term capital for businesses, noting that improved access to finance remains critical to the growth and competitiveness of Nigerian enterprises.

They added that sustained investment in productive sectors would enhance economic diversification, strengthen local value chains, and support inclusive economic growth.

The Bank of Industry reaffirmed its commitment to providing sustainable financing solutions that empower businesses, drive industrial development, and contribute to Nigeria’s long-term economic transformation
