BLAQBONEZ DENIES HARASSMENT ALLEGATIONS, SAYS CLAIMS ARE INDUSTRY-DRIVEN
Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has publicly denied allegations of harassment, emotional abuse, and cyberstalking made against him by a woman identified as Jane Doe.
Jane Doe, through her legal representatives, Bristol & Mortglass CS, reportedly petitioned the Nigeria Police Force, accusing the rapper of subjecting her to months of harassment, invasion of privacy, bullying, and the unauthorised sharing of private videos after she allegedly rejected his advances.
In response, Blaqbonez took to his Instagram Story on Wednesday to address the accusations, insisting that he is innocent and is cooperating with authorities to uncover the truth.
“I am cooperating fully with the authorities to see that truth is established,” he wrote.
The “Back In Uni” crooner dismissed the petition as a targeted attempt to damage his reputation, claiming the allegations were sponsored by professional rivals within the music industry.
While admitting that he once had a romantic relationship with the petitioner, Blaqbonez maintained that their affair ended amicably and without conflict.
“At the heart of these stories lies a personal relationship from my past, one that ended respectfully without conflict. That private chapter now becomes entangled with professional rivalries in the music industry. A personal matter between two adults has been pulled into a broader feud, reshaped and used as ammunition to discredit me publicly,” he added.
As of press time, the Nigeria Police Force has not issued an official statement regarding the petition or any ongoing investigation into the matter.
