BENUE APC COMMENDS PEACEFUL, SUCCESSFUL LG CONGRESSES
The Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed satisfaction over the peaceful and well-attended local government congresses held on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
The party described the non-elective congresses across the state as orderly, transparent, and peaceful, highlighting the high level of discipline, unity, and organizational capacity within its ranks.
This statement was made by the party’s publicity secretary, Daniel Ihomun, who noted that the large turnout of members demonstrates continued confidence in the leadership and principles of the APC in Benue State.
“We congratulate all local government party executives who were duly affirmed by their respective congresses to continue in office for another four-year term. This reaffirmation is a clear endorsement of your stewardship and the trust reposed in you by party members,” Ihomun said.
He urged the executives to remain inclusive, transparent, and committed to strengthening party structures at the grassroots in accordance with the constitution and guiding principles of the APC.
Ihomun further stated that with the successful completion of both ward and local government congresses, the Benue State APC remains united, focused, and strategically positioned to consolidate its structures and intensify mobilization efforts toward securing victory for President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to internal democracy, unity, and the advancement of its objectives in Benue State and beyond.
