Reality TV star Tacha Akide has clashed with social critic Scott Iguma after he called out the Lagos State Government over the poor condition of the road leading to Ikate-Elegushi, one of the city’s upscale neighborhoods.

In a video shared online, Scott showed the deplorable state of the road and expressed disbelief that people who spend billions of naira on property in the area still have to deal with such terrible access roads.

“So you mean I will buy a property in Ikate for N2 billion and this is the entrance I will use to go to my house? We are insane in this country. If we see these things as normal, then we are all insane,” he said passionately.

He went further to criticize Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, saying Lagos has become dirtier under his administration. Scott also recalled the days of former Governor Babatunde Fashola, when the state, according to him, was cleaner and more orderly.

However, Tacha was not impressed with his remarks. Reacting to the video, she labeled Scott a “content creator” and urged him to direct the same energy at his own state.

“All these content creators! Every day it’s Lagos this, Lagos that! One would think Lagos is the only state in Nigeria. Post the ‘highbrow’ areas in your own state and let’s see. I doubt you even know your local government chairman,” she fired back.

The exchange has since sparked conversations online, with many Nigerians debating whether Scott raised valid concerns about governance in Lagos or whether Tacha was right to call him out for focusing only on the state.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
