BBNaija 10: Thelma Says There’s No Romantic Vibe With Kayikunmi — “We Slept Like the Red Sea”

Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Thelma Lawson, has responded to the drama surrounding her decision to choose Kayikunmi as her guest after winning the Head of House (HoH) title.

The move sparked tension in the house on Sunday night, especially from Isabella, who believed Thelma’s decision was a deliberate attempt to get close to her love interest, Kayikunmi.

But in a chat with fellow housemate Kola on Monday, Thelma made it clear that her choice had no emotional strings attached.

“Choosing Kayikunmi as my guest is just a game. It’s nothing personal,” she explained.
“I’m doing it to prove that being Head of House isn’t about picking your friends to live with you. If Isabella were up for nomination today, I could still save her.”

She further emphasized that there was no intimacy between her and Kayikunmi during their time in the HoH room, using a biblical reference to describe the situation.

“I’m not attracted to Kayikunmi. In fact, we slept on the bed last night like when Moses parted the Red Sea,” she added.

Kayikunmi also echoed her sentiments in a separate conversation with Kola, stating that there’s no romantic relationship between them.

“Thelma is my guy. There’s nothing between us. She calls me out when I’m wrong. I can still be professing love to Isabella.”

While the house remains tense over love triangles and strategic moves, both Thelma and Kayikunmi insist their connection is purely game-based and platonic.
