Odera Mbadiwe, elder brother of the popular Big Brother Naija Mbadiwe twins, has broken his silence after being declared missing for several days.

The businessman revealed that his disappearance was linked to the ingestion of a poisonous substance that left him weak and incapacitated.

According to him, a young woman and a man found him in distress by the roadside and quickly reached out to his family, ensuring he got help and was brought to safety.

Taking to Instagram to update Nigerians on his health, Odera expressed deep gratitude to everyone who showed concern during the frightening episode.

“After missing for three days, I am deeply thankful to be safe and recovering. It was later discovered that a harmful substance had been introduced into my system by unknown persons, which led to a very difficult and uncertain time,” he wrote.

He went on to thank his family, friends, the general public, and security agencies for their support, adding that he is growing stronger each day.

Odera also said the experience has taught him important lessons, promising to move forward from the incident with renewed strength.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
