Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has opened up about a personal struggle — his strained relationship with his mother.

The Osun-born medical doctor made the emotional confession during a late-night conversation with fellow housemate Joanna, shortly after the pool party on Thursday.

Faith admitted that despite efforts to build a stronger bond with his mum, he still feels a gap in their relationship.

“I hate my mum,” Faith initially said, before quickly correcting himself. “Okay, maybe not hate, but I just wish she were a better mum.”

Joanna, who listened attentively, encouraged him to keep trying to mend things, reminding him that sometimes children may misunderstand their parents.

She added that regardless of challenges, mothers often make great sacrifices for their children — even from the very act of childbirth — and should be shown forgiveness.
