The Bayelsa State chapter of the Tinubu Support Group has called on political stakeholders and groups across the country to work together ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The group’s state coordinator, Preye Aganaba, made the appeal in a statement, saying political coalitions and alliances supporting President Bola Tinubu’s re-election should collaborate rather than allow internal disagreements to weaken the mobilisation effort.

Aganaba said the support for Tinubu should extend beyond members of the All Progressives Congress, adding that people from different political backgrounds could participate in the re-election campaign.

He said the Bayelsa chapter of the group was prepared to work with individuals and organisations both within and outside the APC.

The coordinator also pointed to the administration’s economic policies, saying the government had taken steps to address some of the country’s economic challenges. These comments represent the position of the support group and its assessment of the administration.

The group urged stakeholders involved in the mobilisation effort to put aside disagreements and expand participation ahead of the 2027 election.

Aganaba further said the group would continue engaging political actors and other stakeholders in Bayelsa and beyond as it seeks to build support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
