BAUCHI APC BEGINS GRASSROOTS MOBILISATION FOR TINUBU

A support group campaigning for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election has begun grassroots mobilisation efforts in Bauchi State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement held an expanded stakeholders’ meeting in Bauchi on Sunday, bringing together its state, zonal and local government structures to discuss its campaign plans.

The movement’s North-East Zonal Coordinator, Zakari Hashim, said the meeting was aimed at coordinating stakeholders and developing strategies for engaging communities across the state.

The Bauchi State Coordinator, Muhammad Auwal, said the group was working towards its stated target of mobilising 10 million votes for Tinubu nationally.

He said the movement would adopt a door-to-door approach across Bauchi’s wards and polling units to communicate what it described as the achievements of the Tinubu administration.

Auwal urged members to focus on presenting information about the government rather than engaging residents in arguments during their mobilisation activities.

The meeting was attended by representatives from Bauchi’s 20 local government areas, as well as youth and women groups, persons with disabilities and media representatives.

The development comes as political parties and support groups intensify preparations and grassroots engagements ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
