Recent Visits and Career Updates
A week prior, Asake and his mother had paid a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, at his palace in Ile-Ife. The Ooni welcomed the singer back home, highlighting that Asake spent a significant part of his formative years in Ife and praising his mother as a steadfast pillar of support.
In a reflection on Asake’s earlier days, Yemi Elesho shared fond memories of the singer, noting that he had very little growing up and often shared food with friends.
