manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that captain Martin Odegaard and forward Kai Havertz could be available for Sunday’s trip to face Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners are aiming to respond positively after their 2-2 draw away to Wolves at Molineux earlier in the week.

Odegaard and Havertz both missed the midweek encounter but are in contention to return for the crucial North London Derby.

If they are declared fit, Arteta would be left with only Mikel Merino sidelined due to a long-term injury.

Speaking on Friday, Arteta confirmed there were no fresh injury concerns and suggested both players could make the squad, pending a final assessment on Saturday.
