ARSENAL GOALKEEPER DAVID RAYA HAILS SQUAD’S CHARACTER AFTER THIRD STRAIGHT VICTORY ACROSS ALL COMPETITIONS

Spanish shot-stopper praises Gunners’ bounce-back resilience following late 1–0 win over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has praised his teammates' "incredible" response after the Gunners secured their third consecutive victory across all competitions with a hard-fought 1–0 Premier League win against Nottingham Forest.

Following a 3–1 setback against Brighton and an extended 19-day break from action, Arsenal bounced back strongly by stringing together three successive wins across domestic and European fixtures.

Reflecting on the team's mental strength, Raya told the club’s official website that returning from a tough loss and an extended period without match action required immense focus, describing the performance level and collective response as outstanding.

In a tightly contested encounter at the City Ground, winger Noni Madueke broke the deadlock in the 80th minute with a deflected effort to claim all three points for the visitors. Raya singled out Madueke for praise, labeling him a special talent who produced a crucial goal at a notoriously difficult away venue.

The clean-sheet victory moved Arsenal past memories of previous 0–0 stalemates at Nottingham Forest, with Raya emphasizing the squad's maturity, patience, and defensive discipline in grinding out the result.

With momentum fully restored, the North London side now turns its attention to mid-week European fixtures as they look to extend their winning streak.
