APC WILL CHALLENGE PDP AND RECLAIM PLATEAU GOVERNORSHIP IN 2027 — YILWATDA
Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has affirmed that the party is fully prepared to challenge the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and secure the 2027 governorship election in Plateau State.
He made the remarks in Jos during a reception for new defectors from the PDP, Labour Party, PRP, and NNPP. According to Yilwatda, the growing number of defectors reflects increasing confidence in the APC.
“These defections prove that more people now believe in our direction and leadership,” he stated.
Yilwatda explained that the APC has been reorganising its structures, expanding its membership, and strengthening cooperation at all levels in Plateau. The party, he said, is not only aiming for legislative seats but is also determined to capture the governorship.
He added that the APC will continue to welcome new members willing to contribute to its success. Prof. Nentawe urged party members to stay focused, united, and active in grassroots mobilisation as the 2027 elections approach.
