APC REINSTATES KEBBI GOV’S ADVISER SUSPENDED FOR BRINGING SNAKE TO OFFICE
The Kebbi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reinstated Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant as Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics.
Sani-Giant was previously suspended on February 28, 2025, following an incident earlier that month, in which he brought a snake into the Government House, allegedly to intimidate political figures and dignitaries.
In a statement released Monday in Birnin Kebbi, the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Kana-Zuru, announced that the suspension had been lifted with immediate effect.
Kana-Zuru explained that the party’s State Working Committee (SWC) reviewed Sani-Giant’s apology during a meeting held on Tuesday and agreed to restore his position and party membership.
“You are hereby reinstated as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC),” the letter stated. “You are directed to resume your official duties, and all rights and privileges attached to your position have been fully restored,” Kana-Zuru added.
