The All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved the composition of sub-committees for the forthcoming 2026 National Convention, aiming to ensure a transparent and credible process.

These committees are tasked with coordinating operational, administrative, electoral, logistics, security, and programme activities to guarantee the seamless conduct of the convention.

The leadership of the National Convention sub-committees includes:

Aspirants’ Screening Committee: Chairman Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Co-Chairman Usman Ododo, Vice Chairman Sen. Ken Nnamani.

Screening Appeal Committee: Chairman Umar Namadi, Co-Chairman Francis Nwifuru, Vice Chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Election Committee: Chairman Aminu Bello Masari; Vice Chairmen Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, Uba Sani, and Monday Okpebholo.

Election Appeal Committee: Co-Chairmen Agbu Kefas and Siminalayi Fubara, Vice Chairman Abba Kabir Yusuf.

Venue Committee: Chairmen Abiodun Adedapo Oluseun and Ahmed Aliyu; Vice Chairmen David Umahi and Simon Bako Lalong.

Security Committee: Chairmen Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd) and Douye Diri; Vice Chairman Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

Finance Committee: Chairman Sen. Hope Uzodimma, Co-Chairman Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Vice Chairman Olawale Edun.

Media and Publicity Committee: Chairman H.E. Mai Mala Buni, Co-Chairman Hon. Muhammed Idris Malagi, Vice Chairman Sen. I. D. Gyang.

Ceremonial, Programme and Events Committee: Chairman Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio, Co-Chairman Tajudeen Abbas, Vice Chairman H.E. Sen. George Akume.

Delegates’ Accreditation Committee: Chairman Prof. Babagana Umar Zulum, Co-Chairman Pastor Umo Eno, Vice Chairman Sen. Barau I. Jibrin.

Protocol Committee: Chairman Sen. Bassey Otu, Co-Chairman Inuwa Yahaya, Vice Chairman Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.

Accommodation and Transportation Committee: Chairman Dave Umahi, Co-Chairman AbdulAziz Yari, Vice Chairmen Sen. Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan and Sen. Adams Oshiomhole.

Entertainment and Welfare Committee: Chairman H.E. Sheriff Oborevwori, Co-Chairman Peter Mbah, Vice Chairman Dikko Umaru Radda.

Convention Legacy and Rapporteur Committee: Chairman AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Co-Chairman Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Vice Chairman Rt. Hon. Babangida S.M. Nguroje.

Legal Advisory Committee: Chairman Hon. Lateef Fagbemi, SAN; Co-Chairman Caleb Mutfwang; Vice Chairman Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN.

Medical and Emergency Response Committee: Chairman Dr. Nasir Idris, Co-Chairman Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, Vice Chairman Fr. Hyacinth Alia.
