ANCHOR INSURANCE UNVEILS MOTOR COVER AND DIGITAL APP

Anchor Insurance Company Limited has introduced an enhanced third-party motor insurance policy and a new mobile application as part of efforts to expand insurance coverage in Nigeria.

The company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ebose Augustine Osegha, unveiled the initiatives during a media launch in Lagos.

He said the enhanced policy was designed to provide motorists with wider protection than basic third-party insurance while remaining more affordable than comprehensive cover.

Osegha said the product targets individuals, families, institutions, small businesses, fleet owners and transport operators.

The company also launched the Anchor Insurance App, which allows customers to purchase eligible policies, make payments, receive policy documents and manage existing policies.

Customers can also submit insurance claims, upload supporting documents and track the progress of claims through the application.

The platform includes a dedicated module for brokers to manage multiple clients and access policy information.

Osegha said the company was investing in technology to make insurance easier to understand, purchase and manage.

He added that the initiatives were aimed at improving customer experience, increasing insurance awareness and expanding the number of Nigerians with access to insurance protection.
