AMOTEKUN ARRESTS FATHER, THREE SONS, OTHERS OVER CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES IN ONDO
Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, also known as Amotekun, have arrested a father and his three sons along with several other suspects for alleged involvement in criminal activities in the state.
The arrests were made during a coordinated operation targeting a criminal syndicate linked to robbery, cultism, and other violent offences. Items recovered from the suspects include firearms, ammunition, and stolen property.
Ondo State Amotekun Commander, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed the operation and said the suspects are undergoing interrogation. “We will not rest until criminal elements are flushed out of our communities. This arrest is part of our sustained efforts to make Ondo safe,” he stated.
Residents have commended the security network for its proactive approach, calling for similar operations in other parts of the state. The suspects will be handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
The development underscores Amotekun’s growing role in complementing conventional security agencies in maintaining law and order in South-West Nigeria.
