The Commander of the Ondo State Security Network Agency (Amotekun Corps), Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, has disclosed that 39 individuals suspected of fleeing northern Nigeria following recent US military airstrikes have been arrested in the state.
Adeleye emphasized that the corps has implemented measures to fully secure Ondo State against infiltration by fleeing bandits and terrorists.

According to Adeleye, 50 of the suspects were allegedly involved in general law and order violations, six were linked to kidnapping cases, two were detained over anti-open grazing violations, and three were apprehended for gender-based offenses, including rape.
“We appreciate the support of all security agencies in the state—the police, civil defence, army, DSS, vigilantes—as well as the general public,” Adeleye said.
