A 400-level student of the University of Abuja has been taken into police custody over allegations of rape, authorities confirmed. The arrest followed complaints filed by the alleged victim, prompting an immediate investigation by the police.

Officials stated that the suspect is cooperating with authorities, and the case is currently under investigation. The university has assured students and parents that it will fully support the legal process while maintaining campus safety.
