ALL ON CHARTS RENEWABLE INVESTMENT ROADMAP
All On, a leading impact investment firm focused on off-grid energy solutions, has unveiled a comprehensive renewable energy investment roadmap aimed at mobilising over $500 million into Nigeria’s clean energy sector over the next five years.
The firm disclosed this on Friday during its annual impact report presentation in Lagos. The roadmap outlines strategic focus areas including mini-grids, solar home systems, productive use of energy, and clean cooking solutions, with a strong emphasis on scaling innovative technologies and supporting local entrepreneurs.
All On CEO, Ms. Ifeoma Malo, said the roadmap is designed to accelerate Nigeria’s energy transition and address the electricity access gap in underserved communities. “We are committed to catalysing investment that delivers both financial returns and measurable social impact. Our roadmap will guide us in partnering with the right innovators and communities to drive sustainable change,” Malo stated.
The investment plan includes the launch of new funds targeting early-stage and growth-stage companies in the renewable energy space. All On also plans to deepen its collaboration with development finance institutions, commercial banks, and philanthropic organisations to de-risk investments and attract more private capital.
The report highlighted All On’s impact in the past year, including the deployment of solar solutions that have provided electricity to thousands of households and small businesses. The firm has supported over 50 companies since inception, creating jobs and improving livelihoods across the country.
Stakeholders have welcomed the roadmap, describing it as a bold step towards achieving Nigeria’s renewable energy targets. The Minister of Power, Mr. Adebayo Adelabu, commended All On for its consistent contribution to the sector and pledged government support for private sector-led initiatives.
As Nigeria continues to grapple with energy access challenges, All On’s renewed focus on renewable investment is expected to play a pivotal role in expanding clean energy access and supporting the country’s climate change commitments.
