The event is scheduled to be held at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, with dignitaries expected from government, academia, the financial sector, and traditional institutions.
According to a statement by Jare Ajayi, publicity secretary of Afenifere, the ceremony will be chaired by former Head of State Abdulsalami Abubakar, while Seyi Makinde, Governor of Oyo State, will unveil the book.
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State is expected to serve as the host governor.
The event will also feature prominent royal figures, including Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, and Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, while the Deji of Akure, Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, will host in a royal capacity.
Former Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko is expected to review the book, offering insights into Falae’s decades-long career in public service, politics, and traditional leadership.
Falae, who currently chairs the National Executive Committee of Afenifere, previously served as Secretary to the Government of the Federation under Ibrahim Babangida and also held office as Nigeria’s Minister of Finance.
The book launch is expected to highlight his contributions to Nigeria’s political and economic development, while reflecting on key moments in the country’s democratic journey.
