Nigerian carrier Air Peace has signed a major codeshare and partnership agreement with Etihad Airways to expand connectivity across 20 cities in West and Central Africa.

The deal will enable seamless travel options for passengers, linking major hubs through Air Peace’s extensive regional network and Etihad’s international routes. The partnership is expected to boost trade, tourism, and business travel between Africa and the Middle East/Asia.

Air Peace Chairman, Allen Onyema, described the agreement as a significant milestone in the airline’s growth strategy and commitment to positioning Nigeria as a regional aviation hub.

Etihad Airways officials expressed excitement about deepening ties with Africa’s fastest-growing carrier, noting the huge potential in the underserved West and Central African markets.

The collaboration is projected to enhance passenger choice, improve connectivity, and stimulate economic activities across the regions. Operations under the new agreement are expected to commence soon.
