The results of Sunday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) matches are in.

In Group F, defending champions Ivory Coast played a 1-1 draw with Cameroon, courtesy of goals from Amad Diallo and an own goal by Ghislain Konan. Meanwhile, Mozambique defeated Gabon 3-2, climbing to third place in the group with three points.

In Group E, Algeria secured a 1-0 victory over Burkina Faso, with Riyad Mahrez converting a first-half penalty. Sudan also recorded a 1-0 win against Equatorial Guinea.

More AFCON Match-day three fixtures are set for Monday. South Africa will face Zimbabwe in the evening, while Angola takes on Egypt. Later at night, Zambia will challenge host nation Morocco, followed by Comoros clashing with Mali at Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca.
