AFCFTA, CUSTOMS SIGN MOU TO SIMPLIFY TRADE
The Managing Director of Cornerstone Insurance Plc, Mr. Ganiyu Musa, has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to education and healthcare as core pillars of its corporate social responsibility strategy.
Speaking at the commissioning of a renovated classroom block and health outreach programme in a Lagos community, Musa emphasised that investing in human capital development is essential for long-term societal progress. “Education and health are fundamental to building a better Nigeria. We will continue to support initiatives that make a real difference in people’s lives,” he said.
The insurance firm has funded the construction and equipping of learning facilities and provided free medical services, including eye screenings and distribution of medications, to hundreds of residents. Cornerstone also awarded scholarships to deserving students in the community.
Stakeholders have applauded the company’s consistent focus on impactful CSR projects. The initiatives are expected to benefit local schools and improve access to basic healthcare services.
Cornerstone Insurance plans to scale similar programmes across other states in the coming year as part of its broader sustainability agenda.
