Lookman Chooses Inter Over Premier League Return, Rejects Arsenal Interest

Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman has made it clear — his next destination is Inter Milan, not the Premier League.

The Atalanta forward has reportedly turned down the chance to even hold talks with Arsenal, despite the Gunners tabling a bid and showing strong interest in bringing him back to England. Nottingham Forest have also been linked, but Lookman has his heart set on a switch to the Serie A giants.

According to reports from Italy, an agent acting on Atalanta’s behalf approached Arsenal, but the 26-year-old refused to entertain the idea. Instead, he has already agreed personal terms with Inter and is now waiting for the club to meet Atalanta’s asking price.

Lookman has even stayed away from Atalanta training in recent days, signalling his determination to force through the move. While Arsenal are believed to be offering more money than Inter, the Nigerian international is prioritising his preferred destination over a bigger paycheck.

The deal now hinges on whether Inter can finalise an offer that will convince Atalanta to sell — and if they do, Lookman will be one step closer to achieving his Serie A dream.
