ADELEKE REAFFIRMS LOYALTY TO TINUBU, DECLARES ‘HE’S OUR LEADER’
Adeleke made this declaration on Tuesday in Osogbo while addressing members of his cabinet, special advisers, and other senior government officials. The disclosure was contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.
The governor emphasized that the ongoing challenges affecting local government administration in Osun State have not influenced his position, noting that his support for President Tinubu dates back to his time in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“We have no disagreement with President Tinubu; he remains our leader,” Adeleke stated. “As a representative of the South-West, I reaffirm our endorsement of the President’s re-election in the overall interest of the region.”
He also commended residents for their continued backing of the Accord Party (AP), describing its growing influence as extending beyond Osun State.
Adeleke further assured citizens of his administration’s commitment to delivering democratic benefits, with increased attention to youth development, women empowerment, and workers’ welfare. He added that his government would prioritize investments in infrastructure, agro-industrialisation, education, and healthcare.
Additionally, the governor directed party leaders to reinforce grassroots structures by intensifying membership drives and voter mobilisation efforts across all 332 wards in the state.
