The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has dismissed reports claiming that he has resigned from his position.

He reaffirmed that he remains a member of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

The clarification was issued through his Special Adviser on Strategic Communication and Media Relations, Bolaji Tunji.

Speculation had earlier circulated online suggesting that Adelabu, who is among the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirants in Oyo State, had stepped down from his role.

However, Tunji refuted the claims, describing them as false and misleading.

He maintained that the minister has not resigned and continues to carry out his duties in office.
