Nigerian music stars Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi, are set to welcome their second child, with the singer taking to social media to express his gratitude.

In a video shared on their YouTube page, the couple joyfully announced the news, with Simi showing off her baby bump alongside Adekunle Gold and their daughter, Deja.

Taking to Instagram, Adekunle Gold wrote about the consistency of his love and home, expressing appreciation for his blessings and the moments he gets to share with his loved ones.

“No matter where I go, my home is the same. My love is the same. I’m grateful for my blessings, and I’m grateful to be able to capture these moments with my favourite people in the world.”

Earlier this year, in January, the couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. Adekunle Gold described Simi as his greatest blessing, his partner in everything, and his source of peace and joy. He added that every day with her is a gift.

Simi also shared a heartfelt note, saying that Adekunle Gold still makes her laugh and calling him the best man she knows, her perfect match.

The couple married in 2019 and welcomed their first child, Deja, in 2020. In a previous interview, Simi revealed that she never intended to marry a musician, recalling how she met Adekunle Gold without knowing he was a singer.
