ADEKUNLE GOLD CLEARS AIR ON TWIN RUMOURS, REVEALS HE AND SIMI WELCOMED A BABY BOY
Nigerian Afrobeats singer Adekunle Gold has finally addressed widespread rumours claiming that he and his wife, singer Simi, recently welcomed twins.
According to reports, the music star dismissed the reports during a recent appearance on the Great Day 20 podcast, clarifying that the couple only welcomed a baby boy and not twins as widely speculated online.
According to Adekunle Gold, the rumours were simply another example of misinformation spreading across social media.
“My wife and I didn’t give birth to twins, it is just internet rumours. We have a son,” he said.
Adejare Already Showing Signs of Becoming a Music Star
Beyond clearing the air on the speculation, the singer also opened up about family life and his daughter’s growing interest in music.
Adekunle Gold revealed that their five-year-old daughter, Adejare Kosoko, is already displaying qualities that suggest she may follow in the footsteps of her parents.
The singer described it as fascinating to watch their daughter naturally gravitate toward music while growing up in a home shaped by creativity and songwriting.
“It is interesting to be married to another fantastic singer-songwriter and now our daughter is already giving signs that she might be one for the music as well,” he added.
With both parents regarded among Nigeria’s most respected contemporary artistes, fans have already begun speculating that Adejare could one day become part of the next generation of musical talents.
“I Don’t Like Trouble” — Adekunle Gold Opens Up on Choosing Peace
In another recent conversation making rounds online, Adekunle Gold also spoke candidly about his personality and why he intentionally avoids conflict.
In a video shared on social media, the Orente crooner explained that he prefers a calm and peaceful lifestyle, noting that he deliberately stays away from situations that could escalate into unnecessary drama.
According to him, he understands his own temperament and knows that heated situations could push him to say things he may later regret.
Because of this, he often chooses to walk away from arguments before they become bigger problems.
The singer stressed that avoiding trouble should not be mistaken for weakness, but rather a conscious decision to protect his peace and maintain emotional balance.
At a time when celebrity culture is often driven by controversy and online clashes, Adekunle Gold’s approach reflects a different kind of strength — one rooted not in noise, but in self-awareness, restraint, and peace of mind.
