ADC YOUTHS PROTEST PARTY DEREGISTRATION RULING, PETITION NJC OVER JUDICIAL DECISION

Youth members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) have staged protests in major cities across Nigeria following a court ruling that ordered the deregistration of the party, while also submitting a formal petition to the National Judicial Council (NJC).

The angry protests, which took place in Abuja, Lagos, and some state capitals, reflect growing frustration among young members who see the ruling as politically motivated and detrimental to Nigeria’s multi-party democracy.
