ACTRESS JEMIMA OSUNDE BAGS THIRD DEGREE FROM UK UNIVERSITY
Nollywood actress and medical professional Jemima Osunde has achieved yet another milestone, earning a Master of Science in Public Health from a university in the United Kingdom.
The actress shared the joyous news with fans on Instagram, posting radiant graduation photos along with a playful caption that read:
“Stay warm guys, I hear it’s 3 degrees outside. Of course I had to use a cheeky caption. A Master of Science in Public Health. My 3rd degree. Forever doing side quests.”
Known for effortlessly balancing her thriving acting career with her medical pursuits, Jemima revealed that her motivation stems from a desire to explore both passions fully.
“Why do I chase academic qualifications and a career in healthcare even with my existing career in entertainment? My simple answer is — why not? I’ve always lived the best of both worlds,” she wrote.
She recalled combining her studies at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (Idi-Araba) with a growing acting career and later working full-time at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) while continuing her screen roles.
“I worked full-time in LUTH for a year while still acting, and now I’ve completed my master’s in public health while still being in your faces. Why have one when I can have two? I want it all,” Jemima added.
In a lighthearted close, the actress joked about wanting to impress her future children:
“One of my personal motivations was so I could proudly tell my kids, ‘Mummy has two heads.’”
Expressing heartfelt gratitude, Jemima wrote:
“VERY proud of myself. Shout out to my friends and family. Shout out to the team that got me ready for my grad.”
Fans and fellow celebrities flooded her comments with congratulatory messages, celebrating her as an inspiring example of determination, versatility, and academic excellence.
