3650HQ LAUNCHES PLATFORM TO HELP BUSINESSES MANAGE WHATSAPP COSTS
Nigerian technology startup 3650HQ has launched a conversational-commerce platform designed to help businesses manage rising messaging costs and customer interactions across multiple digital channels.
The move follows changes to the WhatsApp Business Platform pricing introduced by Meta from October 1, which include charges for some service messages beyond a monthly allowance.
The changes affect businesses using the WhatsApp Business Platform and not ordinary WhatsApp users. The financial impact varies depending on message volumes, message categories and the markets served.
3650HQ said its platform brings customer conversations from WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok and email into a shared workspace.
The company said businesses can use the platform to manage enquiries, process orders, generate invoices, collect payments and arrange deliveries without repeatedly switching between applications.
It added that businesses can create invoices within customer conversations and generate dedicated virtual bank accounts for transactions.
According to the company, the system can also verify payments and update invoices, helping businesses reduce manual processes.
The platform is aimed at businesses seeking to manage customer communication more efficiently as messaging costs and digital sales channels continue to expand.
