The Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, has reacted to growing political speculation surrounding former President Goodluck Jonathan and the 2027 presidential race.

Obi’s remarks come amid widespread discussions and rumours on social media about possible realignments ahead of the next general elections.

The former Anambra State governor noted that political conversations around 2027 are expected at this stage, but urged Nigerians to focus more on governance, national development, and addressing pressing economic challenges.
