2027: FAYOSE SAYS PETER OBI IS ADC’S ONLY POLITICAL LIFELINE
Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has described former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as the only active force in the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Fayose made the remarks on Friday during an interview on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television.
He further stated that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is “technically no more” and described it as dead.
Commenting on Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, Fayose said the governor should not be dragged into the PDP’s current challenges.
He added:
“Obi is the only life in ADC; all other people in ADC are semi-existent. If Obi had remained in the Labour Party or moved to the Accord Party, he would still be the only active presence. The others are not really existing—they are old forces.
“Openly, I supported Tinubu in 2023. I didn’t hide it, and I’m still consistent. I do not jump parties. As I’ve said, I’m not a member of APC and I will never be.”
