Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been decamped following the postponement of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Head coach Justine Madugu’s team returned to the country on Wednesday after playing two international friendly matches against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses in Yaoundé last week.
The African champions were initially scheduled to travel to Morocco for the final phase of their preparations for the tournament.
However, the players have now returned to their respective clubs after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) moved the competition to July.
CAF has yet to announce the host nation for the biennial tournament.
Nigeria have been drawn in Group C alongside Malawi, Zambia and Egypt.
