2026: Osun Youths, Kinsmen Endorse Dotun Babayemi For Apc Guber Ticket

Over 2,000 youths from Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State have formally endorsed Omooba Dotun Babayemi as their preferred aspirant for the 2026 All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial ticket.

The endorsement took place in Gbongan, Babayemi’s hometown, where enthusiastic supporters gathered in large numbers to welcome him as he commenced a statewide consultative tour following the official declaration of his intention at the APC state secretariat.

Youths Declare Babayemi the Right Choice for Osun

Speaking on behalf of the youths, Mr. Adekunle Rafiu described Babayemi as a visionary leader with a proven track record of community development and youth empowerment.

“His impact across Ayedaade and the wider Osun State is immeasurable, especially given that he has made these contributions from his personal resources and without holding public office,” Rafiu said.

He emphasised that Babayemi’s emergence as governor would lead to a transformational shift in the state’s development trajectory.

“Omooba Babayemi has consistently exemplified leadership, foresight, and a sincere commitment to the progress of our communities. His policies are geared towards sustainable development, youth empowerment, and inclusive growth.”

Call on APC to Support Babayemi’s Candidature

The youths unanimously urged APC stakeholders and leadership to support Babayemi’s gubernatorial ambition, asserting that his candidacy presents the party’s best chance of victory in the 2026 elections.

“We, the youths of Ayedaade Local Government, firmly endorse Omooba Dotun Babayemi and appeal to the party leadership to entrust him with the APC flag for the 2026 governorship race in Osun,” Rafiu added.

This endorsement adds momentum to Babayemi’s growing support base as he intensifies consultations with party leaders, community stakeholders, and grassroots mobilisers across Osun State.
