Arsenal youngster Max Dowman has made history by becoming the youngest player ever to win the Premier League title at just 16 years and 144 days old.

The teenage midfielder, who featured enough times during the season to qualify for a winner’s medal, was among 40 Arsenal players and staff who received the title honour after meeting the appearance requirement.

Dowman has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign, during which he also set several records, including becoming the youngest Premier League goalscorer after a solo strike in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Everton in January at 16 years and 73 days.

He also became the youngest starter in Premier League history on the final day of the season when he was named in the starting XI at Selhurst Park.

The Arsenal star now moves ahead of Manchester City’s Phil Foden, who previously held the record as the youngest Premier League title winner.

Below are some of the other youngest players to win the Premier League:

Phil Foden (Manchester City, 2017/18) – 17 years, 350 days
Rico Lewis (Manchester City, 2022/23) – 18 years, 188 days
Brahim Díaz (Manchester City, 2017/18) – 18 years, 283 days
Gaël Clichy (Arsenal, 2003/04) – 18 years, 294 days
Rafael da Silva (Manchester United, 2008/09) – 18 years, 319 days

Phil Neville (Manchester United, 1995/96) – 19 years, 105 days
Ryan Giggs (Manchester United, 1992/93) – 19 years, 161 days
